GPA Calculator

This Grade point average calculator (GPA calculator) can help you estimate the outcome of your grades throughout your time at university. This tool calculates the individual year GPA, as well as the cumulative GPA (CGPA) which looks at your GPA over the last two years. The GPA calculation is the weighted average of the grades, taking into account the credits associated with the course(s). The GPA is the sum of the weighted credits multiplied by the grade value. This tool uses the University of Otago grade values as a starting set [A+ = 9 , A = 8 , A- = 7 , B+ = 6 , B = 5 , B- = 4 , C+ = 3 , C = 2 , C- = 1 , D or below (any fail grade) = 0], however you can change the values to that of your prefered tertiary institution on the 'GPA Grade Point Scores' matrix below. If you are a student at The University of Auckland, AUT, University of Waikato, Massey University, Victoria University, University of Canterbury, Lincoln University or University of Otago this tool can help you.
