Equations in slope-intercept form are equations that produce a line through two distinct points. The form of that equation is y = mx + b, where m represents the slope of the line and b represent where the line crosses the y-axis. If (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are two points, then you can find m and b with the following two formulas: m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) and b = y1 - mx1
