How the countdown works

The calculator compares today's date with the date you choose and counts the whole days between them. Weeks are the days divided by 7, and months are an approximate figure based on an average month length, so use the day count for anything exact.

Does it include today?

It shows full days remaining. A date that is tomorrow shows 1 day, and today shows 0.

What about a date in the past?

If you pick a past date, the calculator shows how many days ago it was.
