How many days until a date?

Pick the future date and the calculator counts the whole days from today until then. It also shows the same gap in weeks and in months, and the day of the week the date falls on.

The countdown shows the number of full days remaining from today to the target date. If the date is today, it shows zero days. If it is tomorrow, it shows one day.

How the countdown works

The calculator compares today's date with the date you choose and counts the whole days between them. Weeks are the days divided by 7, and months are an approximate figure based on an average month length, so use the day count for anything exact.
