Reach New Zealanders at the moment they are deciding about money

Nobody opens a mortgage calculator to browse. They open it because they are working out what they can borrow, what they will owe, or what they will retire on. Your brand sits on that page, in that moment, with no competitor anywhere near it.

Contextual placement only. No visitor profiling, no audience data for sale, no retargeting. The page decides what runs on it.

Traffic is from our own analytics for the month to 22 August 2026. Every audience figure on this page is recalculated from that data each time the page loads. Nothing here is a rounded estimate written by hand.

New: the published dataset sections

We now publish 3 national datasets as browsable pages, and every one of them carries advertising. Nothing else in the New Zealand market presents this data in a form people can actually use, which means these pages answer searches nobody else is answering.

These sections went live in late August 2026, after the analytics period above, so they carry no measured traffic yet and none is claimed here. They are included in the relevant packages at no extra cost, and their audience will show in your delivery reports as it builds.

Why this audience is different

01 Intent, not impressions

A visitor here has a number they need and a decision attached to it. They are not reading an article about mortgages, they are calculating one. That is the difference between an audience interested in a subject and an audience acting on it, and it is why we price on presence rather than on banner loads.

02 The largest calculator site in New Zealand

2,463 tools across 26 subject categories, plus 2,324 dataset pages and a learning centre of several hundred guides. If a New Zealander is working out a number about money, the odds are good that they are doing it here.

03 Category exclusivity, genuinely

While you hold a category, no competing advertiser appears anywhere in it. Not a smaller share, not a rotation: none. It is enforced in the software rather than only in the contract, which is why a single category here is worth more than a much larger share of a general site. What exclusivity covers.

04 An endorsement, not a banner

Every placement can carry a written partner introduction above the artwork, explaining in our voice why we work with you. Readers came here for help with a decision, so a considered recommendation is read as useful rather than resented. It is the highest-performing element we run.

05 Delivery you can audit

Partners get a login showing impressions and clicks by day and by individual creative, read from the serving logs rather than modelled. Upload artwork, switch between approved creatives and book campaign dates yourself. See it before you sign: the sample dashboard is the real screen.

06 Editorial standards that protect you

Every creative is reviewed by a person, and some pages carry no advertising at all: anything on financial hardship, relationship separation or problem gambling is permanently excluded and no fee changes that. Being on a site with rules is worth something to a regulated brand.

What exclusivity actually covers

The most important thing you are buying, stated precisely enough to hold up after you have signed.

What you get

  • No competitor in your category, on any page in it. If you hold Mortgages and lending, no other lender, broker or comparison site appears on any of those 96 tools while your term runs.
  • Sole occupancy of the page. There is one advertising unit per page. You are not sharing it, and there is no second slot lower down.
  • No rotation. Your artwork is what runs, every time, not one impression in three.
  • Enforced in software. The system refuses to book a competing placement in a category that is held, so it cannot be sold twice by mistake. The contract says the same thing, but the code is what actually stops it.

What it does not mean

  • You are not the only advertiser on the site. Other categories have their own partners. A bank in Mortgages and a payroll company in Tax and business run at the same time, on different pages, and never appear beside each other.
  • It is bounded by the category, not the subject. Categories are listed by name in your insertion order, so what you hold is written down rather than inferred. If a tool sits in a category you have not bought, it is not yours.
  • Some pages carry no advertising at all. Anything on financial hardship, relationship separation or problem gambling is permanently excluded, and those pages stay empty whoever is paying.
  • It ends when the term ends. We will always offer you first refusal before the category is shown to anybody else.

If two advertisers want the same category, the first signed order takes it. We will tell you plainly if the one you want is already held, rather than selling you an adjacent category and letting you find out.

What is available right now

Note: New bookings are paused while we review how this inventory is sold, including a possible single site-wide arrangement. Get in touch if you would like to talk about a placement.

What we will not sell

Not a limitation to work around. For a regulated brand it is the reason this is a safe place to appear.

14 pages carry no advertising at all, whoever is paying. They cover financial hardship, relationship separation, problem gambling and one veterinary emergency, and the exclusion is enforced in the renderer rather than promised in a contract: the advertising slot is not rendered on these pages, so there is nothing for a booking error to fill.

  • Separation asset split calculator
  • Separation divorce finances guide
  • Splitting kiwisaver separation guide
  • Dog chocolate toxicity calculator
  • When money is tight
  • Financial stress guide
  • Benefit advances and tas guide
  • Supported living payment guide
  • Community services card guide
  • Payday lending risk guide
  • Recovering unpaid wages guide
  • Problem gambling money guide
  • Bankruptcy nz guide
  • Money after a natural disaster guide

Five further pages are frozen while they carry a measurement we are running, and cannot be booked until that finishes. The list above is read from the same array the software enforces, so this page cannot describe a standard the site does not apply.

Six packages

Each is a group of categories held exclusively, priced monthly in New Zealand dollars and excluding GST. Audience figures beside each price are computed from the traffic data, not estimated.

Property and lending

People part-way through the largest financial decision of their lives.

$500per month minimum, excl GST This is the minimum for its traffic today, worked out the same way as every price here: $30 to $35 for every 1,000 monthly views, depending on the category. If the audience grows, the price grows with it, at the same rate.

Nobody opens a mortgage repayment calculator idly. They open it because they are deciding whether they can afford a house, what a bank will lend them, or what a sale actually nets after commission and repayment. That is a person with a live problem, a deadline, and money about to move.

This is the highest-intent inventory on the site and the most competitive space in New Zealand financial services. A visitor comparing repayments across terms is weeks, sometimes days, from choosing a lender or a broker. A visitor working out the true cost of building is deciding between a build and an existing home. A visitor calculating rental yield is deciding whether to buy the property at all.

The placement sits inside the decision rather than beside it. Your banner runs on the page where the sum is being done, above the answer, with a written introduction explaining why we partner with you. It reads as a recommendation from a site the reader has come to for help, not as an ad they scrolled past on the way somewhere else.

The category covers mortgage repayments and affordability, deposit and LVR tools, break-fee and refix calculators, the real estate commission tools, rental yield and property investment modelling, and the full cost-of-building suite. Holding the category means no competing lender, broker or agency appears anywhere in it while your placement runs.

Who this is for: banks and non-bank lenders, mortgage brokers and aggregators, real estate agencies, builders and building supply firms, property management companies, and conveyancing or valuation services.

Tax and business

Contractors, sole traders and small companies working out what they owe and what they keep.

$1,080per month minimum, excl GST This is the minimum for its traffic today, worked out the same way as every price here: $35 for every 1,000 monthly views. If the audience grows, the price grows with it, at the same rate.

The single largest block of traffic on the site, and the one where the reader is most often a business rather than a household. Somebody calculating provisional tax, GST on an invoice, or the true cost of an employee is running a business and looking for tools to run it better.

New Zealand has around 600,000 businesses and the overwhelming majority are small. They do their own PAYE sums, work out their own GST, and decide for themselves whether to hire. Every one of those moments happens on a page like ours, and every one of them is a moment when accounting software, an accountant, a payroll service or a business lender is genuinely useful rather than an interruption.

The intent here is unusually specific. A visitor on the provisional tax page has a filing obligation and a date. A visitor on the true cost of an employee calculator is deciding whether to make a hire. A visitor on the contractor rate calculator is setting their own price and deciding whether to keep contracting. These are commercial decisions with budget attached, made by the person who signs off the spend.

The category covers PAYE and income tax, GST in both directions, provisional tax including AIM, the contractor and self-employment suite, business valuation and break-even tools, employee cost and payroll modelling, and the company and trust calculators. It is the widest and busiest category we sell.

Who this is for: accounting and bookkeeping software, accountants and tax agents, payroll providers, business lenders and invoice finance, insurance for small business, and professional services aimed at contractors and the self-employed.

Employment and income

People changing job, checking what they are owed, or working out what a move to New Zealand pays.

$620per month, excl GST

Pay is the thing people are least willing to guess about and least comfortable asking about. They come here instead, and they arrive at a moment of change: a new offer, a redundancy, a dispute over leave, or a decision about whether to move countries for work.

Moments of employment change are among the few times a working adult reconsiders their financial arrangements wholesale. A new job means a new payroll, often a new KiwiSaver decision, sometimes a new city and a new mortgage. A redundancy means working out how long the money lasts. These are not idle sessions: the reader has a document in front of them and a decision to make about it.

The salary dataset makes this category unusually credible. We publish median earnings by region and by age from Statistics New Zealand's Linked Employer-Employee Data, so a reader checking whether an offer is fair can see the actual distribution rather than a survey of self-reported figures. That is the kind of page people bookmark and return to, and the kind of context that makes an adjacent recommendation land.

The category covers the pay and salary comparison tools, leave and holiday pay, redundancy and notice, minimum wage and entitlements, the employment law calculators, the government support and entitlement tools, and the migrant income and visa cost calculators.

Who this is for: recruiters and job boards, payroll and HR software, employment lawyers and advisory services, immigration advisers and relocation services, unions and professional bodies, and KiwiSaver providers targeting people at a job change.

Investing, KiwiSaver and debt

Long-horizon decisions, and the audience most likely to be comparing one provider against another.

$350per month minimum, excl GST This is the minimum for its traffic today, worked out the same way as every price here: $35 for every 1,000 monthly views. If the audience grows, the price grows with it, at the same rate.

This is the category where a reader is most often deciding WHO to use rather than merely what to do. Somebody modelling their KiwiSaver balance at 65 is asking whether their current fund is good enough. Somebody comparing term deposit rates is choosing a bank. Somebody running a debt payoff plan is looking for a consolidation option.

Provider choice is the whole game in this category, and it is made rarely and held for years. A KiwiSaver member switches provider perhaps once a decade; when they do, the decision is worth a great deal to whoever wins it. Our retirement projection tools are exactly where that reconsideration happens, because the moment a projected balance looks smaller than expected is the moment somebody asks whether their fund is the right one.

The compounding and savings goal tools reach the same audience earlier, before the money exists. The debt side reaches them at the opposite end, working out how long a repayment plan takes and what an extra payment saves. Both are moments when a clearly explained alternative is welcome rather than resented.

The category covers KiwiSaver contributions, projections and first-home withdrawal, retirement income and drawdown modelling, compound interest and savings goals, term deposit and savings comparison, managed fund and share investment tools including the FIF and tax-on-investment calculators, credit card and personal loan payoff, and debt consolidation modelling.

Who this is for: KiwiSaver and managed fund providers, banks and credit unions, investment platforms and share brokers, financial advisers and advice services, and responsible lending or debt consolidation providers.

Everyday and household

Broad reach against the ordinary money decisions people make most often.

$610per month, excl GST

The widest audience on the site and the most frequently returning. Running a car, insuring it, paying the power bill, working out what a child costs, comparing the price of study. These are not once-in-a-decade decisions; they are the ones people revisit constantly, which makes this the category for brand presence rather than a single conversion moment.

Reach in this category is genuinely broad because the subject matter is universal. Everybody with a car has wondered what it actually costs to run. Everybody with a power bill has wondered whether they are paying too much. Parents work out the cost of a child, students work out the cost of a course, and households work out whether a heat pump pays for itself.

It is also where the household spending dataset lives, which is the most distinctive inventory we have. We publish what New Zealand households actually spend by category, by income decile, by household size and by region, from the Household Economic Survey. Nothing else in the New Zealand market presents that data as usable pages, and readers arrive at them from searches nobody else is answering.

The category covers vehicle running costs, fuel and EV comparison, vehicle finance and depreciation, insurance calculators across contents, life, health and vehicle, power and utility cost tools, budgeting and household cost modelling, the cost of raising a child, health and fitness tools, and student loan and study cost calculators.

Who this is for: insurers and comparison services, energy retailers, motor vehicle dealers and finance, retail banks running brand campaigns, education providers and student services, and consumer brands wanting sustained presence against everyday household decisions.

Maths, Science and Reference

Students, tradespeople and anyone who wants an exact answer rather than a financial decision.

$740per month, excl GST

The largest package on the site by both measures: 1,334 tools and 37,128 monthly views, more than any of the five packages above. It is also the one category here that is not about a financial decision at all. A student working through a maths problem, a tradesperson converting a measurement on site, an engineer checking a formula: these are quick, habitual visits rather than once-in-a-decade moments, and there are more of them here than anywhere else on the site.

Maths and study is the single largest category on the site by tool count, 461 tools covering arithmetic, algebra, statistics, geometry and the working a student or parent reaches for while doing homework or coursework. It is read almost entirely as reference rather than as a purchase decision, which makes it a different kind of inventory to the five packages above: fewer readers arrive mid-decision, but far more of them arrive at all, and they come back.

Units and conversions is the second largest piece, 262 tools that people use constantly rather than occasionally: a recipe measurement, a tyre pressure, a currency amount, a shoe size. Engineering and trades adds another 208, the formulas and load calculations a tradesperson checks on site rather than at a desk. Both are bookmark-and-return inventory, the kind of tool a reader keeps coming back to rather than uses once.

The category covers maths and statistics, unit and measurement conversions, engineering and trade formulas, dates, time and timers, random and reference generators, and a further 263 specialist and one-off tools that do not sit naturally anywhere else. Together they are the reason this site is used for reasons that have nothing to do with money at all.

Who this is for: education providers and tutoring services, textbook and stationery brands, trade and hardware retailers, tool and instrument manufacturers, engineering and construction software, and any brand whose customer is a student, a tradesperson or simply someone who looks things up.

Site-wide

Every sellable category, exclusive, plus the long tail of general calculators and the full dataset sections. One arrangement, one invoice, and no competitor anywhere on the site.

$3,900per month, excl GST

All 20 sellable categories taken together, plus Maths, Science and Reference and both dataset sections. The six packages together also come to $3,900, so buying everything site-wide costs exactly the same as buying all six separately, bought as one arrangement and one invoice rather than six, and with no other advertiser anywhere on the site rather than six categories that could each go to somebody different.

131,138monthly views, the whole site
2,463calculators
2,324dataset pages

The first five packages cover the 20 categories we sell one at a time, which together carry 94,010 monthly views. Maths, Science and Reference adds the remaining 37,128 views across the general calculators that carry no individual price of their own, which together with the first five is why site-wide quotes the full 131,138.

Every price above assumes a 12-month agreement, billed monthly. A month-to-month arrangement, with no minimum term, costs 30% more each month, which reflects the shorter commitment and the extra creative and account work a rolling arrangement takes on our side.

Formats

One banner unit, rendered server-side with its space reserved so the page never moves as it loads. Desktop is 1110 by 280 pixels, mobile 366 by 92. PNG, JPG or WebP up to 1 MB. We do not accept SVG, because it can carry script and we will not serve that from this domain.

Above the banner you can run a written partner introduction of up to about 150 words, in our voice, explaining why we work with you. This is where most of the value sits. It is the element readers actually read, and it is the reason a placement here behaves more like a referral than like display advertising.

Artwork is uploaded through the partner portal and reviewed before it runs. Once a creative is approved you can switch between approved creatives and book campaign dates yourself, without waiting on us, which is what makes a seasonal promotion practical.
