How it works

The calculator adds your monthly service costs and multiplies by twelve for the annual total. For rotating, it estimates the cost of keeping only your chosen number of services active at a time, at the average price of the services you listed, which is what you would pay if you switched between them rather than holding them all. The difference is the saving from rotating.

Worked example

Four services at $20, $16, $13 and $10 a month total $59, about $708 a year. Rotating to keep two active at a time, at the roughly $15 average each, costs about $360 a year, saving close to $348 while still giving plenty to watch.
