What shoe size system does New Zealand use?

New Zealand uses UK shoe sizing, the same as the United Kingdom and Australia. So if you know your NZ size, it is your UK size. This tool converts that to US and European sizes and to the foot length in centimetres.

How do I measure my foot length?

Stand on a piece of paper with your heel against a wall and mark the tip of your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres, and measure both feet in the afternoon when they are largest. Use the larger foot and match the centimetre length in the chart.

Why do sizes differ between brands?

Conversion charts are a guide, but the fit varies by brand and style because each maker uses its own lasts. If you are between sizes or buying online, the centimetre length is the most reliable measure to compare against a brand's own size guide.
