Running Pace Calculator

This calculator works out your running pace, finish time or distance, using whichever two of those three values you already know. Enter your distance in kilometres or miles, your time in hours, minutes and seconds, or your pace in minutes and seconds per kilometre, and leave the third field blank for the calculator to fill in. It is built for training runs, race planning and pacing strategy, whether you are working out how fast you need to run to hit a target finish time, checking what pace you held on a training loop, or estimating how far you could run at a comfortable pace over a set time. Your results show the full distance in both kilometres and miles, your total time, your pace per kilometre and per mile, and your average speed in kilometres per hour. Below that, a predicted race times table converts your pace into expected finish times for a parkrun 5km, 10km, 15km, half marathon and full marathon, so you can see how today's effort compares across common race distances. The calculation assumes a constant, even pace throughout, so it does not account for hills, wind, fatigue or pacing changes during a real run. Use it to plan a race strategy, set a training pace target, or simply convert one running metric into another, keeping in mind that real-world conditions will always shift your actual result.
