NZ Rates and Water Calculator
This calculator estimates your annual council rates and water charges based on your property's capital value and where you live in New Zealand. You enter your property's capital value (CV) from your latest council valuation, choose your council area from major centres including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, Dunedin, Selwyn, Waimakariri and Queenstown Lakes (plus indicative options for other metro or provincial areas), select how your water is charged (metered by the cubic metre, a flat targeted rate, or included in general rates), and enter your annual water usage if metered.
