Turn any pay rate into a yearly figure. Enter your pay and how often you receive it, and the calculator shows your annual income plus the equivalent weekly, fortnightly, and monthly amounts. For an hourly rate, add the hours you work each week. All figures are gross, before tax.
Gross, before PAYE tax and deductions. Based on 52 weeks, 26 fortnights, and 12 months per year.
The calculator first works out your annual income, then divides it across pay frequencies. Hourly pay is multiplied by your weekly hours and by 52. Weekly pay is multiplied by 52, fortnightly by 26, and monthly by 12.
At $30 an hour for 40 hours a week, the annual income is 30 times 40 times 52, which is $62,400. That is $5,200 a month, $2,400 a fortnight, or $1,200 a week, all before tax.
No, it is gross income before PAYE, ACC, KiwiSaver, and student loan. Use the PAYE Calculator for take-home pay.
